Battlecry 2009 LARP Schedule

Hello, my fellow LARPers! Battlecry is fast approaching so to give people more time to write awesome content, stop having fun. That’s an order.

Now that’s sorted, as you can see by the schedule below (times are 24hr), there are several empty slots available for LARPy goodness. Please, if you want to run something in these times, contact me at peter.cummuskey@xtra.co.nz and give me a brief on what you want.

I shall also be running an Orcball game throughout the weekend, for those wanting some wanton slaughter between games or sips of coffee.

Can we not have a ‘wee hours of the morning’ LARP on Friday/Saturday night?

Do you mean a Saturday 00-04 timeslot? Sure, I’ll put that up.

It doesn’t make sense if you emphasize the NOT, as there wasn’t a wee hours LARP spot till I was asked to put one in. I read it as CAN’T.

However, the question is purely academic as if no-one wants to run a LARP then, I sure as hell am not going to.

Actually, put me down for it. I’ve got a bit of an idea now (although I fear it may be a bit close to the plots of various video game and movies…)

Now to see the numbers I actually have for it. If anyone is interested, I could probably use a few crew and/or a co-author or two :wink:

The idea I had basically revolved around having the run of the place. So now I’m idea-less. So, I’d like to withdraw from this slot, and open it up for someone else. If I have a good idea, and it still isn’t taken, I’ll do something, but for now I gotta pull out.

EDIT: Something I should have said earlier, I’m still interested in being an assistant author or whatever if someone else wants to write one. Its just I don’t have a solid main idea right now.

Right, just for you who don’t know quite what to expect:

Now, I know it’s not perfect, but for now it’ll have to do.

As it stands, no-one has offered to run a game in any of the slots free. Never fear however LARP’ers, Orcball is not only a fun game to play, but an excellent spectator sport.

I would like to take the 14:00 till 18:00 saturday larp slot please :slight_smile: - If no one takes the morning slot I would be happy to run a longer game.

Larp will be starwars - rules etc can be found in the starwars thread on this forum.

The only problem that I see so far is that it seems that there is restricted access to the Star Wars board - you have to be logged in. And not everyone who would be interested will have a diatribe account, or want to join up for just one game. So, y’know, you might want to think about that :stuck_out_tongue: But I want to say, I’m very pleased to see that we’ll have something there. I hope it goes well! :slight_smile:

hmm i wasn’t aware that the starwars board was locked - there are a few backstage rooms that are locked… will sort this out - thanks for the heads up.

There’s a character questionaire for this larp. If you’re intending to attend, please make sure you fill it out so I can assign you a character that suits you the best :slight_smile:
