Auction - Be on the back cover of Immersion September!

Immersion is delivered to the doorsteps of all nzLARPS members, all affiliates and handed out like candy to anyone who shows an interest in larp.

And once again, you have the chance to be on the back cover of New Zealand’s biggest (and only) larping magazine!

In order to offset the production costs, we are auctioning off the back cover of the next issue here on Diatribe. The back cover is A5 size and is printed full bleed onto 130 GSM matte paper. The magazine has a circulation of 120 amongst larp and roleplay inclined audiences.

If you would like to advertise your larp, gaming or other audience relevant products/services/organisation/pets/party/self, please bid below, whoever bids the highest by 10pm August 17th, will get to be on the back cover of everyone’s favourite niche magazine and have the lovely warm glowing feeling of knowing you helped support it.

Your artwork must be in by August 31st.

If we could start the bidding at $20?

I’ll start the bid at $20 for Bad Dreams.

Without even asking Jared, $25 for Knightshade

(don’t worry dude I’ll front it myself)

Lets make it a nice even 40, time to make things a bit more interesting :smiling_imp:

This is your last week to bid! Auction ends 10pm on Sunday.

$60

Your empire needs you.

Porl and I bid $100. For a different from Bad Dreams. Currently nameless, we’ll figure one out soon. Lets say the trial name is En Nominae Negotiations.

$120

$150

$200

lets get this party started.

:open_mouth: This might be the only time in the history of nzLARPS that Immersion will break even.

Everyone realises this is for real money, right? Not play money?

Also lets hope that this time we actually manage to collect payment, too :unamused:

Steve, why are you making it sound like no one ever pays? We have not had one auction where the purchaser refused to pay up. There was an incident with some crossed wires and $20 that was entirely my fault, but that was over a year ago and we haven’t had any problems since then. Don’t be so negative.

WHO’S IT GONNA BE?

Mystery 1 VS Mystery 2!

At this price, I’ll throw in design for free

Hit $3000 and I’ll make you an ad you can scratch-and-sniff.

250 it is then.

It was more a comment that, yes, once we failed to collect payment, and this time its a lot more $, so this time we want to be sure to collect. Not that noone ever pays.

I think it was still an inappropriate comment, particularly as it insinuated that the bidding parties might not pay up.

Apologies if anyone read it that way, it was not intended like that. It was more ‘we could use the money’ than ‘I dont think theyll pay up’. Probably this is the sort of misunderstanding I cause when I post in a hurry…

I was bidding in Zimbabwean dollars ^^

as much as I hate to break my daily pay packet its going to have to go to $300 NZ
