Some things that it might pay to revisit before the AGM and the round of new & renewed memberships that will come with it:

  1. Could memberships last a year from month of issue. Some people are put off joining by the “membership year” approach.

  2. The size of the student discount - is it larger than it needs to be? It’s much larger proportionately than the discount given by, for example, Mordavia. Would students still join if the yearly cost was $15 rather than $10?

  3. Should membership discounts be extended to other beneficiaries?
