=> How should we offer laser printing as a service to larpers? I’d like to raise a motion to allow projects and associates to print for 10c/page for single-sided or 12c/page for double-sided. Both for black & white printing including basic paper. Colour printing prices to be decided later. I believe this is a lot cheaper than going to a professional printer, but will cover our costs.

Good plan, manu time have games been delayed while franticly trying to squeeze the last drops of ink from a printer, or find the cash for public priniting which really adds up.

I think we should definitely have some internal charging for printing to projects and affilliates in order to prevent excessive use (and to recoup some costs from affilliates) but of course less than commercial printers.

Other things for agentda:

LARP resource book - remember the venue catalogue, Wiki, and so on? This is something we can do that would be of great benefit in encouraging people to run events. Why can’t we get something online?

Dunno if I’ll make it tonight, but updates & suggestions on some of the agenda points:

  • www.nzlarps.org homepage images are up, feedback welcome
  • Welcome to Diatribe page is up
  • “Show me the larp” page content is under work
  • Printer cost $780.22, black toner (8k pages) cost $247.87. Both have been paid for, toner has not been delivered yet.
  • one of the Freeform Games scenarios might make a good intro game for Battlecry and a good practice of the WorkPlay concept. I have one that we could work something out on (the Egyptian one) or another could be purchased. I also have some suggestions for making the game more suitable for “gamers”.
  • I’m away 1st-14th September.

I can’t make it. No news from my Mum about whether she’s decided for or againts the trailer proposal.

OK, it’s going to be a quiet one then. I’ll be there, and I’d definitely like to start talking about the AGM.
