No idea when it’s coming out, but who wants to go?
April 15th is the New Zealand release date, according to my live-in IMDB newsfeed (also known as Tigger)
I’m up for that. I like vampires and I like Sam Neill.
That looks cool:D I’d love to see it:D
“Who are you guys?”
“We’re the ones with the crossbows”
I’m so up for this movie!
April is definitely guna be a good movie month… First Alice in Wonderland and now Daybreakers!
WOOT!
Sweet. I saw the adds for this in Australia and I’ve been keen ever since.
Sweet, I will so be organising a group to go to this!!! I think the opening night calls for costuming and accessories, don’t you?
OH Completely!!!
Anyone else up for scaring the Mundanes of this world?
that looks epic im keen to tag along and costumes … SO KEEN LOL !!!
OH Completely!!!
Anyone else up for scaring the Mundanes of this world? ^_^[/quote]
sigh… I would comment but I really can’t be botherd… Anna - PC this…
I am organising a group outing to the opening night of Daybreakers Thursday 15th April. It will be standard 2D, so $13.50 per ticket. It will be around 7pm/8pm depending on the times. It will be at Queen St cinemas.
Costume is encouraged but not compulsory as we would like to try and organise some group photos. It’s got a dark, goth/industrial feel to it, so just dressing up in black would probably do but check out the trailer for other options (military/scientists/corporate vamps etc)
Check out the trailer here youtube.com/watch?v=W9roxtugaUo
Cut off for booking a ticket is Tuesday 13th so I can mass book tickets. Email or text me (0276694937) if you want to come along.
Opening night (Thursday 15th/tomorrow), 7:20pm, Queen St, $13
I’ve booked a bunch of seats, if you want one of them please message me or txt me 0276694937.
Dressing up for the occasion is optional
We have 10 people going so far, if anyone else wants to join us. I’ve booked a bunch of seats so still have some spare.
I have seen the movie in the last couple of weeks thanks to some of my friends…
Anyone who has watched “I Am Legend” will recognize some parts (or all) in this movie… Love the whole idea. Wished it came out first before I Am Legend did so I would have a better opinion of those who directed and produced this movie…
Actually I believe The Omega Man from 1971 was one of the first to use this whole idea of end of the human race due to genetic disease/virus/issues and there being 1/a few left to try and save the human race, it’s an old concept…
but what really matters, was the action cool, did it have lots of neat gadgets and blowing up stuff and interesting oufits and could the info be used as source material for vampire/futuristic larps  … I’m going cause it’s a vampire film and I have made it a life long goal to watch every vampire film ever made… even the crap ones
I enjoyed it, I liked it more than “I am legend.” Annoying bats making me jump grrr…
