HI guys, I put a warning notice on the support board, but it occurs to me that not a lot of you will simple visis the support board, so I have cut and pasted it here:
By now you will all be aware of the repeated bot attacks on this site, at this point I can do nothing about the code, I can only modify the board settings and hunt and destroy to try and rid us of bots, and here is the problem.
I don’t know you all yet, if I am not sure whether an account is a bot or not, I will pm you, if you get a pm from me, please respond in 24 hours or I have to assume that the account in question is a bot and therefore I will delete it.
Sorry I understand this is not the perfect solution as yet, but it will have to do for a stop gap measure until I can start coding an automated solution. Thank you all for your patience during this flurry of attacks.

would you guys prefer that I made announcements such as this in teh support forum or here? or would you like to see a general announcements section in the forum?
