That’s me! But it’s also our very own Derek. Thanks! We’re playing a risky ball-game this year after we drew MUSICAL… Watch this space for a genuinely little piece. Did you enter as well? Did you see Fraser’s short last night?
I was in the same team as Fraser. We drew Road Movie and did this really sensitive/nice cinematography drama piece, which is a big change from our previous efforts (we’ve done a lot of fights and fantastical stuff in the past). From the audience reviews, I think our heat was keener on comedy/squicky special effects, mind.
Ah, too bad. I look forward to seeing it! Although yeah, I hear it’s a departure. Hard to do a roadie that’s original AND funny, eh. I was shocked at how many serious films were in my heat - usually it’s a race to the bottom for humour and depravity.
