I really do feel the difference now 
I think it’s good if people who want to make combat in larp can actually learn it. That would make them feel better and more confident in game fight - and lots of game involve fighting more or less.
When I started sword fighting I had no one to train with, so i shadow boxed and it helped a lot, but the main thing i did was any chance i got I went over to ANNA’s place in sandringham and bothered her or patch until they sparred with me.
the only way to get good fast is to spar, with anyone who is willing, even if it is yourself. but you need to make the effort yourself, go to someones house and spar with them, it is summer now so the days are longer and you have more time so get out and do it.
you have a sword now so use it, sleep with it, play with it, use it every chance you get. even if it is on your own in your living room and your opponent is a shadow on the wall.
That’s what I’m actually intending to do.
And the sword is great.
