What to do next.. help me choose!

At Kapcon 05 there was a 12 player game called ‘The Life’, which had a lot of LARP elements to it. It was fundamentally a Heist game with six players as the robbers and six as the cops. One of the main scenes was the bank heist itself, which the cops played the npc’s and had a pregnant women in it.

Was done very well, but the whole game extended over the planning, heist, getaway, track em down, rather than just the heist itself. If you want to focus just on the hiest and have all the players together in a small confined environment, you’d need to play up the whole psychological control aspect.

I like the idea of the subway game myself, especially if you could actaully get permission to hold it at the abandoned station in parnell on a discarded rail car.

I had a few ideas, the first of which was centered around an Edgar Allen Poe story called ‘the Masque of the Red Death’ where the nobles and lords of the populace attempt to party their cares away while outside the poor are succumbing to the plague. It’s a masquerade setting, very decadent and corrupt with that undercurrent of nasty pervasive death (who invited THAT guy?)[/quote]

I know the story you’re talking about and the first time I encountered it the first thing I thought is how amazing it could be as a larp. It would be even cooler if somehow you organised how they move into a different room every time the clock struck the hour (as described in the story).
