Yes they understand english.
Just making sure, you never know =P.
Having seen the āhospitalā in The Crucible in action in the major battle, I have to say the prop tools looked outstanding and really added to the feeling of reality. If you want to play a healer, I canāt emphasize how useful good healerās props can be to adding to the roleplaying drama in a large game because looking on people donāt see one character talking to another character who is laying on a table, they see a healer sewing up the bloody slice on someoneās cheek (etc). I was in two minds about whether fake blood was a good idea, as permission was always going to be needed on a case-by-case basis and I was worried that process would break the flow of the scene and immersion - but the players did it so seemlessly that it never delayed anything, and it looked so much better.
Bravo to the healers and their props, I really do feel that they helped make The Crucible come to life as a game. Indeed I have never seen such care and attention to prop audio quality as well as visual quality while always staying larp-safe. Bravo!
