Woah. Some interesting things in there. Particularly around fantasy larp. A solid reflection exercise for those such as myself who run a fantasy game particularly around the parallels with US larp.

Interesting points are those around “equality” which we call rule balance and “world ending plots” (which I am glad we have to an extent).

I also liked the article on folk fantasy, incorporating local myth and legend and issues into a fantasy game not derived from Tolkien or a derivative of a tolkien derivative.

I loved that one, though obviously you’ve got to have local folklore/myth that you feel comfortable using and riffing off.

I haven’t finished reading it yet, but so far I’ve enjoyed “The Golden Rule of Larp” (discussion of informed consent, and some pitfalls), “Dublin2” (documentation of yet another Nordic refugee game), “Songs and Larp” (from some Russians, about the use of songs both as mechanics and as features of games), and “Shadowrun” (which documents this game).
