I don’t mind stationary ads that aren’t all over the show. Like Ryan said, selective blindness. I do have a popup blocker though, coz those suck. I also don’t usually return to sites that trigger the blocker, just on principle.
In the six weeks or so that the Amazon banner has been back up, folks have clicked through and spent US $98.79, earning NZLARPS US$5.94.
Which is kinda cool, given that it’s money for nothing.
Our balance is US$9.92. When it tops US$10, an Amazon gift certificate will be emailed to the NZLARPS treasurer. Then the society can spend the credit on Amazon.
I see that Amazon sent the society a certificate for US $15.86 on 27 Jan. This certificate usually goes to the Treasurer, I think. Has the society received it?
On a separate note, I was looking for sewing patterns for Western/Victorian clothing this morning and it occurred to me that patterns might be another thing that it would be nice for NZLARPS to have a library of, for lending to members. They’re kinda pricey.
