Sad News

We went to the funeral this afternoon. There was a turnout of 14 from the community, which was really great to see. I made sure to pass on to Andrew the well wishes of those who couldn’t be there. Jenna was a very well loved young woman, with a lot of friends and a very caring family, and the service was beautiful.

Lucy spoke a few words at the funeral, and they were very lovely

She will be very missed in our community.

The service today was poignant and very moving. The programme was dramatic, in three Acts, supported by music such as Phantom of the Opera.

Many friends and family shared memories of Jenna. Andrew spoke of how they met (not at a larp, as had been my assumption all along) and how they were true soul mates, and Lucy told stories about how Jenna was a natural, amazing larper. Andrew also read Jared’s post from this thread.

In all, it was a very special farewall for a very special woman.

E moe, Jenna, e moe.

Thank you to all those who went. I’m sure that meant a lot to Andrew and her family.

The love and remembrance and memories shared in times like are so important.

My sympathies to you and yours, Andrew. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there myself, but Jenna was a remarkable person, and will be sorely missed.

Thank you also to those who went to the service to show your support when some of us couldn’t.

Hi everyone
I would like to extend my sincerest thanks on behalf of both myself and Jenna’s family to you all for the support and love you have given us at this most difficult of times. Thank you all as well for helping us to give her a sendoff worthy of such a remarkable woman.

Sincerely
Andrew
