Preferred play style

I rather like the sound of that, it’s much the reason I’d like to get a bunch of airsoft weapons in and use them as the standard for firearms in anything except point-blank situations. I don’t want it to have to mean the same thing if you’re shot in the arm as in the leg or stomach but at the moment there’s no hard way to determine where you’re hit.

Its a funny question.
We all seem to like to take ourselves a bit too seriously at times but its LARP & craziness always sneaks in, IC or OOC.
Some of the best IC humour I’ve ever experienced was as the Hatter with my trusty sidekick the March Hare. We essentially played Pinky & the Brain in a high fantasy setting, humour which was strictly from out of the game but made insane sense in game.
So LARP is what it is. As long as you’re not ruining it for others then does it matter? And is that orc wearing white sneakers?

Ryan is right. NZ is an extremely safe place, and don’t also forget about the time - 13th century was much less safe than 21st in most of places anyway.

Even after living in NZ for 4 years I still have this habit: when walking after darkness and passing a company of strangers I’m ready to dash aside and run - just in case they attack me, maybe even with knives. It’s a Russian modern reality, happens all the times on streets of Moscow.

So there is nothing non-realistic in having much combat in larps.[/quote]

yeah i suppose so, i dont walk down queen st without my handbag in my hands now, instead of hanging beside me after visiting london. plus i have a po box now.
still i find ‘duel to the death’ or ‘try stab it and see what it does’ seems to be most peoples reactions. huh, pretty human now that i think of it.
