I’ll run one of these in however long it takes my new sword to get through customs. If someone doesn’t run one before then.
I’m sooooo looking forward to them going through all my stuff that I am shipping form the UK… and in this bag we have asorted weaponry, some latex, some metal, some wooden… and over here we have the platemail and studded leather… and yes thats a crossbow… wish I could be there to see the investigators eyes as he reads the list…
Don’t own any larp weapons as yet looks pointedly at David quickly moves out of sight of said Longtooth, but I’m more than happy to help out. I can either be a crash test dummy or show folks how to use a variety of weaponry. Not sure yet, but I think I have enough experience to do that much.

Have we got a date/time/location for this yet?
Would suggest NOT the 14th August as the sewing bee/crafting day is happening then. So maybe Sat the 13th?
But the first day of my production is then D= Why must my production get in the way of every LARP thing I’m trying to do >.<
As a noo noob i would also be keen for a training day. Cornwall park or long bay or whatever. Next weekend or the next is fine

The following weekend sounds good to me too.
Alas, I will be unable to make it for the following Saturday, but I am free on the Sunday. However, I’m not going to Chimera, so my vote probably doesn’t count. I am keen to learn LARP weapon skills though, in preparation for Teonn in December. I do hope there will be other opportunities before then.
well i mean if you want to learn fighting we (the argent court) train every thursday evening in central auckland, its steel and not larp but alot of the skills i.e stance, striking, working shield in tandem with sword, controlling range and learning to react to people coming in at you with weapons are all highly transferable to larp combat and were always keen for newbies.if people new to live combat (like augur) are wanting to get a bit of a feel for fighting in general, its definitely another good opportunity to do so were there every week so its just a case of show up when your thurs evening is free.
if there are any who this might interest give me a pm and ill give you more exact details
Same as Augur, I can’t on Saturday, but I probably can on Sunday, and it’s only in preparation for the next Teonn game.
Thanks for the suggestion, Greg. I have sent you a PM about this.
Scrap my last post’s comment, I can’t for the entirity of the next weekend >.>
Just to say thanks for the invite from Greg and say that weapon practice rocked. Looking forward to the next one. Its the first weapons practice “style” that has a genuine link to LRP safe styles I have found, others spend alot of time doing things that you just can’t do with LRP like head hits and stabby stabby
no problem bro, glad you enjoyed it,will be there next week, same bat time , same bat channel
