Drama, Intrigue, Mystery, Witches, and Cthulu?
What more could you want!?

In the small town of Lowich, trouble is afoot. Someone has been murdered! Although the death itself isn’t a surprise - after all, the townsfolk are very much aware that death occurs often - the means by which they were murdered is peculiar. Many in the town point their finger towards witches. Others are more skeptical and think it was likely an accidental fire.

The townsfolk have been called together to determine a course of action! And the Mayor has called in the FBI to dig deeper into the mystery that plagues this town. Or will this just cause more drama?

And:

The Left Hand
By Katia De Lu and Matthew Baird

You are a member of a new-age cult, run by two charismatic leaders. They have invited you, and several of your rivals, to an exclusive event where you must prove your worthiness to become their new Left Hand. Only one will be chosen.

Can you navigate the toxic environment of manipulation, gaslighting, and bitter rivalries to be the chosen one? What inner mysteries of the cult can you discover? And what happened to the last Left Hand, whose place you are vying for?

Notes:

  • This has nothing to do with Lovecraftian mythos. The intention is for it to be dark and intense, exploring the manipulative tactics of real-world cults.
  • Two players will be cast as the cult leaders. This will come with a bit of extra reading, but also extra knowledge/power.

Player Registration for Phoenix 2019 is now open!

Hungry Shark Week will run from June 3 until June 10. During this time player registrations will be collated and everyone will have an equal opportunity to be sorted into their top picked games. After HUngry Shark Week, players will be allocated games as they sign up, which may mean people miss out on their top picked games as games fill up.

This year we will be offering a van to provide transport to and from Waipara Adventure Centre each day. This will provide you with the opportunity to sleep in your own bed over the weekend, as well as let more people day trip out.

The timetable can be found here: http://saga.org.nz/phoenix/phoenix-2019-timetable/
