Was forced to watch HSM 1 by a ex-girlfriend. Have never been able to live it down. Curse you for bringing up deeply repressed memories…
Very late reply, but I started researching the wild west idea and there is omg so much potential out there, just with histroical figures even. So all we really need now is someone to stepup and spear head oneof the ideas. There’s definately some very cool ideas… I’dbe excited about playing in any of these…
I have 30 or so charcters written so far from a 55+ LARP based on the 1950’s High School Prom theme. Looking for more writers/GMs to join the team, particularly since I will not be able to put in much time at the actual event (New baby due in May)

Are you expecting this to run at Chimera as the flagship larp?
Interested in writing the flagship larp?
If you are still interested in helping be part of the Chimera 2010 flagship team, can you please send me a PM in the next week or so? I am thinking of getting all the interested folks together for an in person discussion and seeing what develops.
There’s lots of cool ideas going around here, if the Wild west one gets chosen, I do like the idea above. Not pushing it but slightly steampunking it would be awesome
It would be a possibility if people want to. I started writing it because I had some time and was full of ideas for the genre - also I had missed out on working on the Great Exhibition LARP last year because of my father’s illness and so still want to do this (I enjoy writing LARPs as much as playing them…)
If it is not the ‘main’ larp then there are many other slots during which it could be run; it could be a smaller (35 people) game or expanded out to the 70-odd required for the main game, if I get help.
However obviously I can’t do it all on my own particularly as I have found in the last few weeks that we’ve a new baby due in May. I can make the most of time to write it until the end of summer!
