Characters for the Great Exhibition

Mine is more awesome than everything I could ever imagine for her 8)

My character is just ok…nothing at all interesting on the sheet…no historical liberties taken…just a plain old boring person with no real interest at all… yep, nothing to see here…move along…

Mine is exactly what I was hoping for

(Now to recover my voice before the weekend!)

And mine made me go :open_mouth: lol

This makes you the most suspicious person in game, Mr Nostralenia.

Hi guys

The who knows who list for your character sheets will not be given to you until the night of the game. The Game writers do not want people to start role playing too early.

And as a note, please please please please do not share information about your characters with anyone OOC before the game as this detracts from the game for everyone involved.

I do not want to know your super secret identity, or that you have a weopon of mass destruction etc before the game OOC, I would like to find out IC and have the fun IC moment of surprise/horror.

Thanks

Nikki

Actually, “who knows who” is different from “who is who”. The question was about list of characters with matching names of players - and nothing else. At least that’s what I meant, and I got impression everyone who supported the idea were after same stuff. And this is the thing we are talking about anyway, but we just keep forgetting it all the time. Two examples:

Example 1:
“Who are you?”
“I’m the Lady of the Lake! And who are you?”
“I’m the Queen of Britain!”

(no, it’s not a talk of two asylum residents, it’s a real conversation, lol)

Example 2:
“Oh what a wonderful evening! By the way, I believe we haven’t been introduced, may I ask who you are?”
“I’m your manager”.

(real half-IC-half-OOC conversation at Masquerade at Fleet Street, between an opera manager and opera star  )

Unfortunately some people will be too tempted to start role playing with people they know IC before the game. This is just a way for the Game Writers to reduce the amount of OOC knowledge that its out there.
There should be some time before the game on the night you can figure out who is who.

I think Nikki’s absolutely bang on correct.

My character is certainly a lot more interesting than I was expecting

And I really didn’t see one of the main aspects of the character coming. At all.
