I’m up for tenpin bowling. This time I know not to run up to the arrows and bowl myself down the aisle. That was painful, and yet, very amusing (to everyone else 
)
Besides, Petanque is so much better than normal lawnbowling. (I don’t know how they see the jack from that far away.) It is especially challenging on a non-flat surface, and more competitive, fun to try and knock someone else’s ball away and win.
