serenity too pretty to die: chance and consequence

Postby Wulfen (David) » Sun, 17 Jan, 2010 5:01 pm

The third instalment of the too pretty to die campaign is going ahead on the 23rd to the 25th of April 2010 (anzac weekend) and is once more based at the awhitu environmental camp.

Game will start around 7pm friday night, there will be a quick breifing and check of weapons prior to the game, and we plan finishing on Sunday at 2pm with camp clean up and general debrief.

On arrival would all players and crew report to the ops station (this will be marked out with a sign,) to receive pre-game briefing and player packs.

For new players or those changing character we require your character sheet and background, and a photo image of yourself, preferably head and shoulders,(this can be done as your character), for the creation of any ID cards your character should be in possession of. please also note any special dietary requirements and/or and medical conditions you feel we should be aware of (confidentiality assured).

the pricing has been fixed at

players $85
crew $45.

Discount of ten dollars for players if paid before the 31st of march 2010
payments to be made to the following westpac account
03-0227-0336836-26

details should include the word "serenity" and your surname.

photo's and character sheets can be mailed to my email account
tooprettytodie.gms@gmail.com

IMPORTANT REQUEST: all those who sent in down time sheets for the previous weekend game, we have not managed to recover tall the lost data from the car theft in 2008, and ask that your downtime be resubmitted as soon as possible. Plots are a happenin' and stuff is a comin' but we do need your help.

secondly: we want crew so could all those keen to crew (including those that have stated previous to me that they would) please now sound off with a yo so I can see numbers, we are aiming for at least ten to fifteen crew this game, if possible.

Lastly and most importantly, a new rules set adapted by the gm's of too pretty to die for NZ gaming will also be available very very soon, this will contain a number of changes from the current 3.0 version used in the UK, and will be in effect for the anzac weekend game.

look forward to hearing from you.

Could all the players writing to the Serenity Gmail account, please put "Downtime Actions" in the Subject line for, well, Downtime actions, this also applies to "Character Query" for general ST questions you can't ask for some reason on Diatribe, and "Backgrounds" for sending us Character Sheets and Background information.

Thanks. 8)

Do these mentions of downtime actions pertain to what happened before the Chimera game, or between Chimera and now? If the latter, can we please get at least an outline of what's happened these past however many months, like re: the quarantine and planetary lockdown?

These mentions of a band sound promising and that maybe things aren't quite so bleak anymore. Should we bring party clothes? ;)

This is going to be interesting. I'll be attending this larp one week after stepping off the plane home from the UK...
Knightsade: Dudley McDougall - Drunken rouge of the realm, indentured servant of the great and glorious God-King...
Serenity: John Henry Scamandros - A man without a past, looking towards the future...
Chrono Continuim: Dr. Jak Cliche - To every question there must be an answer, no matter how crazy the answer may be.
