This has grave implications for Christiana, Duncan's wife. She had been turned, and then came back to be dusted by Lady Blanche. Then Christiana appeared again to Duncan when the gates to the world of the dead opened. And she claimed to be in Hell. Duncan wasn't sure if this was the truth, or if this was a deceiving spirit. But at one point he was willing to enter the land of the dead to try to rescue Christiana, especially since she was accusing him of leaving her behind.

With some trepidation, I await the answer.

I'm also interested to hear the GM's take on this one. I think it varies between different Vampire based universes, and I have actually had a discussion or two on this topic in real life from the perspective of my Christian beliefs.

Indeed. There were many times I had to turn off my actual Christian theological knowledge and just go with what the game was saying. Which was completely fair enough. Just confusing at times. Having to remember what the theological lay of the land was back then, as well as the overlay that St Wolfgangs put on it... :-)

For instance, the Bible verse that I would use to say that in the context of this universe, you couldn't be taken from salvation was Romans 8:38-39. And in a massive show of coincidence (or was it?) that very set of verses was on the back of one of the mens toilet doors... Spooky!

After trying to find out for ages, asking numerous people and finally being told through an augury that when and how to use the crucifix I was given would reveal itself in time, just what did Jean and Dietrich's sharpened silver crucifixes actually do?

They were clues about holy silver. Sure, the three inch variant wasn't a weapon but if someone had wanted to make (instead of a silver sword) a full sized cros with a pointy end, you could've waded into combat weilding that and dealing to the daywalkers.

Yip he went on a trip through time and space at a nightmare circle game. One of the times and spaces was the 13th centuary in Transylvania.

You know I've always wondered...

What do people taste like? I mean, it must be good if vampires prefer them to beer and beef stew...
A forum post should be like skirt. Long enough to cover the subject, but short enough to keep things interesting.

That's hilarious, all the trouble Jean went to to be able to sort Antonius out!

However his cross was less than an inch long, so I guess it wouldn't have been much use eh?

Actually you know what the real question is who, why, when and how?

Who put them in our bags, how did they do it, when did it happen and why!!!

oh mine was given to me by a crazy monk in Rome that made the mistake of trying to sneak up on my in the a side street, luckily for him he survived the experience, and didn't get an "education" like that idiot who nearly gutted Thomas in another alleyway. all he told me was secrets and lies and i would know when to use it. after that interesting conversation I was thoroughly stumped for the rest of the game.

Can't believe I used that one. Stupid god damn habit for bad jokes and pop culture references...

Just as I suspected! I told Nannoc there was no way I was going to try it on with the Bone Wraiths on the off chance that Fab was telling the truth. Also, if I was going to be struck down, it was certainly not going to be while I was looking like a fool ;)
