A darkness rises in the Young Kingdoms.

A mysterious figure, known only as the Wizard of Pan Tang, has been developing strongholds in the Young Kingdoms, and seems poised to challenge many of the smaller kingdoms in open acts of warfare. Even your own mortal ears have heard rumours of this nefarious entity's insatiable thirst for magikal items of all descriptions.

Your own god has expressed a desire to learn more about the Wizard's methods and objectives. It seems that the Wizard is particularly interested in an area of the Young Kingdoms known as the Blasted Lands. From the vivid dreams you have experienced, it appears that these lands are rich in magik. You cannot shake a sense that the Wizard expects to find a number of magikal items within the Blasted Lands.

There is an expectation that you will be able to deliver useful intelligence to your god, and that this will be handsomely rewarded.

Once more, you must venture forth to do your god's bidding...perhaps this time you will be able to profit by obtaining a magikal item for yourself...

I really should get on Diatribe more often. Will probably be there.
Will just need to figure out transportation there and home afterwards.

Will play the same character as last time, but will once again need to borrow sword (A two point version) and a buckler.
Am working on writing background for the character at the moment and will send in sheet shortly.

OK, I've been following the weather forecast all week. Unfortunately, the outlook is grim:

A period of rain tomorrow with heavy falls, followed by showers, and possible thunderstorms.

I've checked the local rain forecasts, at it's basically going to rain all day. i.e. it's just not larping weather

So, I'm going to postpone. Hopefully this is enough notice for people to get the message before Friday. I'll email and text to all available numbers, but please let anyone know who is coming that the game is postponed.

I'll put up a date poll, and I'd like to run this event before mid-November.
