The Establishment

Postby Andrew » Wed, 19 May, 2010 6:46 pm

The Elves have no word for corrupt, yet over fifty for profit. The Establishment is a visual reminder of Elven wealth where ever they go. A small band of honest merchants who definitely didn't sell the pirates any weapons. No sir, none at all. We're also not carrying anything illegal and if you don't believe us maybe you'll believe [insert name of image stamped on the currency].

Although not seniors, they are the cream of the crop in Elven society. They are high-living, whimsical and competitive. They know how to have fun and how to make money.

The Establishment needs traders, contractors, bodyguards, wine, laughter and a lot of money. I intend for this be a fun, light-hearted group. We'll be the team ornamental of Teonn as we ruthlessly compete against other traders and each other in our goal to rise through the ranks of the Elves. We'll probably be quite prop-heavy and I think rather than a shared background for us to be united by a goal and be a rather eclectic group in order with a lot of stories to tell.

The Collective will be more than happy to extend to you such Contractual services as you require, for those times when Trade is simply too costly (or too inappropriate) for the actions you desire. This will, of course, incur a nominal fee, but I'm sure such find and upstanding businesspeople such as yourselves will understand the necessity for such trifles.

I imagine this as kind of a cross between the Mafia and the Dutch East India Trade Company in terms of goals and business practises. So, trade centres, bribes, hostile takeovers, finding people we like and inviting them to join the Establishment, really whatever we like. We're rich, after all, so we can do that stuff.
