Who else from Auckland is planning on going?
Its about that time of year again, to start considering flights. Has anyone booked any yet?
Anyone interested in hiring a big-ish vehicle to take all us & our gear?

I’m planning on going. Still waiting on my leave being approved so I havent booked flights yet.

Leaving Auckland on NZ417 Friday Morning at 9:30 arriving at 10:30
Coming back to Auckland on the Monday flight NZ474 departing 6:40 pm

I’m on the same flight down and would be happy to put in money to a rental car/petrol but I only have my learners so can’t drive.
I’ve booked flights: 01:50 p.m., Fri 11 Apr 2014 JQ 267, arrives around 3pm.
Returning to Auckland 09:05 p.m., Sun 13 Apr 2014 JQ 295

I’m not able to drive a rental veh, but am happy to chip in
I’m happy to drive - have full licence, and even the magic “over 25” category if that makes things cheaper.
4 people + luggage in a medium car.
Or if more people want in, then is it worth looking at people mover type vehicle?
Is this still a thing that is happening? Tigger and I are landing in Wellington at 6:10pm and are looking for a way out to the camp.
